Administration Fees

At Vollenveida we try to make moving home as hassle free and affordable as possible which is why we only charge a referencing fee of £200 for the first tenant then £100 for any additional tenants or guarantor. These are fully inclusive of VAT. Your administration fees are payable at the point of your offer being accepted on a property and before your referencing can commence.

Application & Referencing

Once you have secured a property with Vollenveida you will be required to complete an application form so that we can obtain employment, previous landlord and financial references. We ensure a simplified application process with a representative on hand to help.

Once received we will aim to have a response within 1-3 working days. If you aren't able to provide suitable references or you are a student then don’t worry as you can either:

- Supply details of a suitable guarantor (subject to passing reference checks)

- Pay the rent for the length of the contract in advance

Rent & Deposit

Before you move into your new home you will be required to pay a deposit

that is equivalent to in to one month's rent plus £100 unless otherwise specified.

To comply with current legislation your deposit will be protected with either the

DPS (Deposit Protection Service) or one of the other approved schemes.

The terms and conditions for the DPS can be found on their website below:

The rent for your property will be collected monthly by standing order. This will be set up on the day that you move in and sign your tenancy agreement.

Vacating the Property

If you have decided to leave the property and move elsewhere we request that you serve of notice as per your tenancy agreement. We ask for one calendar month's notice via email to end your tenancy.

We also request that you leave the property is the same condition as when you moved in with all items in the correct rooms as is noted on your original

inventory at the beginning of your tenancy.

Once we have checked the property your deposit will be returned to you within 14 days. Additionally the government have published a guide for all tenants to read.
